There r lot many questions that v keep asking our friends or some just keep tabs on to IMDB (International Movie Database) to keep a chk on their favourites. And for all those lazy asses around I'll help them by givin u ppl a dose of wat's gonna come in the near future and wat can u expect from Hollywood in 20xx (2009,2010,2011)

First I'll start with the favourite category: THE CATEGORY OF POPULAR SEQUELS

For all those superhero, Marvel comics, DC comics (& Raj comics fan...lol) the future looks bright as per the astrologers coz your stars show tht ur hunger for superhero movies will be satiated in the coming years. The releases lined up include
1) X-Men Origins Wolverine (Hugh Jackman fans r gonna love this....especially after his brilliant performance as the host of the last Oscars)
2) Superman: Man of Steel (last Superman movie was such a dud....donno wat this movie holds)
3) IronMan 2 (2010....Will b awesome....)
4) Flash, Captain America
5) Spiderman 4 (2011)

Continuing with the sequels we have:
1) Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009: Saw the trailer cum teaser and the special effects looked cooooooooolllllllll and i must say this is the movie i'm definitely watching at the theatre)
2) Sin City 2 (Sequel to the cult classic Sin City....those who dont like blood and gore galore...stay away from this one...the story happens b4 Sin City 1 so it's actually the prequel)
3) Sin City 3 (2010...WTF?? R the producers trying to make it like Matrix trilogy??)
4) Fast & the Furious (Cant wait for this one...the release date is coming up soon...The fact that it has the same crew as tht of the first movie i.e. Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster makes it more exciting)
5) Night @ the museum 2 (Ben Stiller...am a lil sceptical abt this project)
6) Terminator: Salvation (Just downloaded & watched the trailer and it looks promising even without Arnold bhaiya...Christian Bale plays the role of John.O.Connor)
7) Final Destination 4 3D...ya its 3D (I believe wen I turn 50 years old I'll b watching Final Destination 17...dont think they r gonna stop....)
8) Horror movie (the movie genre tht really sucks): Jeeper Creeper 3, The Grudge 3, etc
9) Jurassic Park 4: Extinction (think it's not being directed by Steven Spielberg)
10) Ghost Rider 2 (YUCK!!! how cud they!! TORTURE AT ITS BEST)
11) I'm Legend 2 (donno wat r they gonna show in this one....my guess is tht it might b the prequel actually...but just bcoz it has Will Smith in it I'm gonna watch it)
12) iRobot 2 (might b good coz Will Smith is in again)
13) Now the BIGGIE-> SHREK 4 is coming out...donno which year (either 2009 or 2010)
14) Toy Story 3
15) hahahahhaqha Zorro 2110 is coming out in 2010 (Storyline: Zorro travels into the future to save some1's shit hahahahaha future hohohohohoho)
16) CRANK: High Voltage (another sucker....storyline: he has put an electrical heart which needs electrical shock time n again so tht it keeps pumping blood)
17) Karate Kid's Sequel (Sorry, I dont remember the number coz thr hav been so many sequels of this one)

Next is the category: Movie based on games and animated manga series
1) Dragonaball: Evolution (WARNING: All Dragonball Z fans stay away from this movie coz then u might wanna kill the director, writer & producer of the movie coz of the following reasons:
a) The protagonists use guns....WTF? What happened to Goku's martial arts?
b) It's DRAGONBALL n not DRAGONBALL Z so the villain is obviously not Vijeta or Friza but it's Picolo (i know it sucks)
2) Tekken (Hope they do justice to this game)
3) Prince of Persia: Sands of time (This one's gonna b AWESOMEEEE coz one it stars Jake Gyllenhall and it's being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, one who made Pirates of the Carribean trilogy...FYI it's currently being shot in Moscow's palaces)
4) Halo (2009....no info is available for this currently...Microsoft may be producing it, donno)
5) Gears of War (Another of Microsoft's popular title)
6) The Sims: The Movie (WTF??? How in the world can they make a movie on a simulation game??? Beats me)
7) Metal Gear Solid (Thank You Konami for giving us the MGS)
8) Street Fighter: Legend of Chung Li
9) dance Dance Revolution (wowwww how can some one make a movie on this game?? For those who don't know wats Dance Dance Revolution...it's a popular game in Japan where dance steps come on the screen and u hav to imitate those steps..)
10) Spy Hunter (with Dwayne Johnson aka ROCK)

Now the movies based on books
1) Angels & Demons (After watching its teaser I just wished I had the whole movie)
2) Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince
3) Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows (2010 & 2011...This movie will come out in 2 parts....thank u Warner Brothers coz just 1 part wouldn't hav done justice coz u can't direct the complete movie with all the details in a 2 hour movie)
4) The Hobbit (2009: JR Tolkien's prequel to the Lord of The Rings)
5) The Hobbit 2 (2010)

And Some more to watch out for:
1) Monsters Vs. Aliens (Humour, Animation)
2) IceAge 3 (Sorry I missed it in the sequels section above)
3) Adventureland (Humour)
4) 12 Rounds (John Cena)
5) Knowing (Here Nicholas Cage finds out a paper which predicts tht the world is gonna end & he sets out to save the EARTH)
6) Star Trek (I'm NOT GONNA WATCH IT)
7) The taking of Phelham 1 2 3 (John Travolta & Denzel Washington....i'll watch this only 4 its star studded star cast)
8) Year One (Will watch it just coz it stars Jack Black, Story: a couple of lazy hunter-gatherers are banished from their primitive village & they set off on an epic journey through their ancient world)
9) G-Force (This one's gonna be real FUN movie...total Masala....It's a walt disney movie so i guess i can expect some material too. Story: A specially trained squad of guinea pigs is dispatched to stop a diabolical billionaire from taking over the world)
10) Final movie: xANDERIZED (Well this is a movie tht I'm gonna direct....after my disasterous debut in my engg. days I hope this one will appeal to the masses)

Phewwwwwww....hav written enuf for the day and I hope the reders now r a lil more aware on wat to watch n wat not to.

We only part to meet again...

The time has again come to say goodbyes.

Only 8 more days to go before my course ends. It's tough to leave friends so dear to you.

2 years back the day I graduated, all of us had made promises of staying in touch with everyone and organizing get togethers once in a few months (huh...fuck organizing get togethers once in a few months we couldn't organize such get togethers even once). The feeling of nostalgia is creeping in coz similar times have come once again. After my engg. I came here in LBSIM...made some new friends here and it's time to say goodbye to them too (so soon) :( :( :(

I still remember the T-Shirt signing day....still have that t-shirt with all the quotes still there (along with my sweat stain....lol). That and few photos are the only memorabilia I got. Wish I had a time machine but not to correct my past but to relive it. But we all have our time machines. Some take us back, called the 'memories' and some take us forward called the 'dreams'.

Again.....all that'll be left is 'memories'. Remember the John Denver's song??

"Eating-Out" Spree

Last 1 week has really been quite eventful, starting with my trip to Shimla (courtsey Amit Tiwari who again gave life to my original plan of "Chalo Shimla Chale"). Couldn't have asked for a better company. Thanks to every1: Mathur a.k.a Prem Chopra, Ankush a.k.a meebo+uwalk, Tiwari & Nilesh
After this it was the turn of Tatva (LBSIM's 'Management Fest') and along with it came the performance of VEDANTA. I had never heard Rock & Indian Fusion music b4 this. And now I regret for not hearing it before. Vedanta's soulful music (especially the song ACE) blew me off my feet (well the crowd was pulling n pushing me time n again too)....lol.

After the performance ended, it was the turn of eating the 2nd best italian food of my life (sorry Sam...i still think PiccaDelhi's Italian is better....not counting the Chicken Platter...it simply rocked) at Big Chill's (Courtsey Samya Dutta...thanks for taking me n pro thr).

Afsos, after this my exam's started...but hold on....the Eating-Out spree doesn't end. Today me, pro and Sam went to CR park (to experience the orgasmic delicacies...lol) to have some Bengali food, again courtsey Sam.

Next one's planned for the coming Saturday and this time the venue/cuisine will be North Campus's Junk Food :D

Procrastination is a weakness that i've been trying to do away with but i keep on leaving it for the next day. So after lots n lots of procrastination i've finally mustered up all of the energy to lift my fingers and type http://www.blogger.com/ to register for the blog.
